Product description
CVD ZnSe focusing lenses are a workhorse optic for CO₂ laser processing. Zinc selenide offers low absorption near 10.6 μm and useful transmission from roughly 0.6–18 μm, making it suitable for industrial cutting heads and selected medical laser paths.
YC Infrared Optics supplies standard and custom focal lengths with AR coatings optimized for 10.6 μm. Optional protective coatings are available for harsher environments. Optics are produced on our full in-house chain — milling, polishing, coating, cleaning, and inspection — so diameter, EFL, and coating response stay consistent across production lots.
Typical RFQs specify diameter, effective focal length, edge thickness, and AR wavelength. We support sample runs through multi-piece production for OEM equipment makers.
